Falkland Islands

The Falkland Islands comprise over 700 islands and are located 300 miles east of southern South America.  Approximately 3000 people live there and English is the official language.  Most Falklanders are of British descent.  The southern elephant seal and the South American fur seal can be found there as well as king, rockhopper, magellanic, gentoo and macaroni penguins.
