Magnificent Hummingbird
We have been to two wonderful Central American countries: Belize and Costa Rica. They are very different. Belize has a small population, is English speaking and has the largest barrier reef in the Americas. Costa Rica is quite populated and Spanish speaking with large mountains and active volcanos. I hope to go back to both of these countries.
I always wondered what a sloth looked like and I liked the look we got in Costa Rica. This three-toed sloth was hiding in a tree in Tortuguero National Park. The sloth appeared very shy and gentle.
